Craig Haney: Fly Fisherman And Storyteller

In this episode, we had an opportunity to sit down with Mr. Craig Haney. If you’ve been around Alabama fly fishing for any length of time you’ve heard of Mr. Haney. Although he would get on to us for calling him Mr. Haney, he is an icon in the state of Alabama for fly fishing. You can find Mr. Haney… I mean Craig, at the Orvis store in Birmingham, sharing stories, fishing spots, and conventional wisdom to anyone who would give him the opportunity. This episode covers a lot of ground from lessons learned on the water to lessons, learned in life and everything in between. We had the opportunity to sit down and Craigs man cave surrounded by fly fishing memorabilia, books, and fly tying materials as he graciously offered a little bit of his day to us. Craig is an incredible storyteller, writer, fly fisherman, family man, and friend. We know that you will enjoy this episode with an Alabama treasure, Mr. Craig Haney.
